I come from a long line of fierce, unstoppable women who taught me how to break barriers and build something beautiful 🌺. From my great-grandmother Jean, who rocked pink hair 💖 and raised her family against all odds, to my mom Jeannie (yes — same name, full-circle magic! ✨), strength and style literally run in my veins.

For over 20 years, I’ve been helping clients transform their hair and their confidence. 🌟 From trendy looks to timeless classics, I bring passion, precision, and a little sparkle to every appointment. I’ve traveled the world 🌎 as an internationally celebrated stylist, trainer, and beauty innovator — but my heart is right here in Portland, creating a space where every client feels gorgeous and empowered.

Hey, I’m Ava — Lead Extension & Color Stylist here at PDX Hair Extensions and the hand-picked future owner of this incredible salon 💇‍♀️✨

I graduated from Aveda Institute Portland in 2024 and began my journey with PDX Hair Extensions before I even finished school. Starting my internship just six months into my cosmetology program. From the very beginning, I knew this industry was where I belonged! After Graduating, I spent a full year in the Speak Easy Academy, training and assisting Kimberly, refining my techniques and gaining hands-on experience behind the chair before officially stepping into the salon floor as a stylist. That foundation shaped not only my technical skills, but also the level of care, artistry, and attention to detail I bring every guest experience. After years of intensive training with both founders (and countless hours perfecting my craft), I’ve grown into a stylist who’s not just skilled but truly passionate about making clients shine ✨
