➰What “Synthetic DE Braids” Mean?
•“DE” = Double-Ended: one synthetic lock that’s folded in half and installed to create two dread strands per section — giving greater volume than Single-Ended dreads.
•Because DE dreads double up, they add more volume — you might want to install fewer per head if you prefer a lighter or less dense look.
•A 24-inch folded DE dread will, once installed, result in two strands each roughly 24 inches long (since you’re holding the fold at the scalp).
