Fallout – Brief Summary

Fallout is a post-apocalyptic series set in the year 2296, over 200 years after a global nuclear war destroyed civilization. Humanity survives either in the devastated wasteland or inside highly controlled underground shelters called Vaults.

The story follows three main characters whose paths eventually collide:

🔹 Lucy (Vault Dweller)

An optimistic, rule-following woman from Vault 33.

Her father is kidnapped by raiders from the surface, forcing her to leave the Vault for the first time. Lucy discovers the harsh reality of the wasteland and slowly transforms from naïve to hardened.

🔹 Maximus (Brotherhood of Steel Initiate)

A young soldier of the militant, techno-obsessed group known as the Brotherhood of Steel.

Maximus dreams of becoming a Knight and sees Lucy as both an ally and a threat as they chase the same target: a scientist with dangerous pre-war technology.

🔹 The Ghoul (Cooper Howard)

A mutated, cowboy-like bounty hunter who used to be a Hollywood actor before the bombs fell.

He’s ruthless, charismatic, and has been alive since before the war—carrying secrets about how the world ended.

🌍 The Central Mystery

All three characters are searching for a scientist who possesses a piece of pre-war tech that could change the power balance of the wasteland.

Along the journey, the show reveals:

• corruption inside the Vaults

• the hidden truth about who caused the nuclear war

• how Vault-Tec manipulated humanity long before the bombs dropped
